What we believe
We think software should be practical, minimal, and thoughtful. It should do what you need and get out of the way. It shouldn't waste your time.
Recipe Gnome is a tool. You use it to save recipes, plan meals, and make a grocery list. Then you close it and go cook dinner. That's the whole idea.
How we make money
We charge a small yearly fee for unlimited recipes. That's it.
We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. Your recipes are yours.
This isn't a growth-at-all-costs startup chasing hockey-stick charts. It's a small business making useful software for people who cook at home.
What we won't do
- ✕ Sell your data or share it with advertisers
- ✕ Show you ads between your recipes
- ✕ Lock your data in — you can always export everything
- ✕ Send you pushy notifications begging you to come back
Why we built this
We love to cook too - we needed a delightful recipe app to keep track of our own recipes. Something personal and simple.
We couldn't find one, so we made it.
